Linux GUI for Amazon S3 (Dragon Disk)
Looking all over the place for an alternative to Firefox S3 Organizer, which is not behaving very well with directories synchronization, at least in my case (Fedora 13, Firefox 3.6). Is getting stuck on "Preparing to PUT"!
Deja Dup Backup Tool is only a backup tool and is uploading the content as a bunch of zip files, which might make perfect sense for Deja Dup, but not to a user who would like to share or access the content from a different location without the Deja Dup tool.
The command line utility s3cmd available from the Fedora repositories is a great tool, but I was looking for a GUI tool:)
So after a few Google searches, I found DragonDisk, which is doing an amazing job despite the fact that is just Beta release. The installation (available as RPM also) and setup were seamless. There is an update option from inside the tool (similar with eclipse features), directories sync configuration, etc.
I am not endorsing anyone, but so far, Dragon Disk is the best Linux GUI tool for Amazon S3 management.
